The only requirement is a webserver that can process Active Server Pages (ASP) and is running on a Windows machine.
The Eufrates BBS must be run on a Windows machine, because the code is compiled into an ActiveX dll and accessed by ASP.
Tested on IIS 4, IIS 5, and PWS.

10/2/01 1.04 Feature Addition:
Added the display of some pertinent information to
the List of Topics page. IE: Displays image is topic
is locked. Also shows links for the pages, if the
topic has enough posts to be paged.
Feature Addition:
Added the tracking of Topic Views, and this is
displayed on the List of Topics page, after you
select a Forum.

Extended the "New Posts" indication to the Topic

IE: Font names for each of the text varieties, and
some style sheet options. Also added the option to
change the table border width and color.

Feature Addition:
Added the ability to set a Forum where all posts are
reviewed before they are saved. This will send an
email to the Admins and Moderator of Forums with
new posts in them, once daily, if needed. The person
reviewing the posts has the option to either "Post" or
"Do Not Post" the reply. If the reply is not posted,
the user will be sent an email, and the reviewer will
have the opportunity to enter a reason for denying the
post.

8/21/01 1.03 Feature Addition:
Added the ability for a user to specify a "signature"
to appear underneath each of their posts. HTML is
not allowed in the signature.
7/20/01 1.02 Feature Addition:
Added ability to filter certain words and replace
them with an admin-defined word. This function
can be enabled/disabled.

Added the paging of topics, where if there are
more than 20 topics in a forum, it will create
paging for each 20.

Added ability to "Lock" a topic. A locked topic
cannot be replied to or edited. The only action
that can be taken is to delete the entire topic.

Added ability to mark a post as "DontArchive". This
will keep that post from being archived if it is past
the archive date. The post will also be immune to
deletion. This is assuming that the archive
feature is enabled, if archiving is not enabled then
the option to mark a post as "DontArchive" is not
available.
